After weeks of tests, he finally is given the "Super Soldier Serum" in addition to being bombarded by "vita-rays." Steve Rogers emerged from treatment with a body asperfect as a human can have. After that, it is placed in an intensive program bothphysically and tactically. Three months later, he is assigned his first assignment asCaptain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle experience, Captain America continues its war against evil both in its role as 'sentinel of liberty' as theleader of the Avengers (The Avengers).
